Wil's Mouse Guard Traveller Page

An attempt to use Mouse Guard to resolve Traveller situations.

Familiarity with Mouse Guard is needed. Go buy it at Indie Press Revolution.

Familiarity with Traveller is needed. This document presumes Traveller to be the Classic, MegaTraveller, and Mongoose Traveller rulesets only. TNE and T4 characters will work just fine, but skills are generally higher, so roll skill+1 dice, to max 6d.

Characters

Attributes
Dice Pool is half the attribute.
Skills
Dice Pool = 2+Skill Level.
Unskilled attempts
1+JOT level.
Damage
In Combat, damage may be done with your weapon to stats (per CT, MT, or MGT). The amount done is 1d per 2 points of MoS, to a maximum of the weapon's rated damage. Any MoS left is applied to disposition.
Rewards
Persona starts equal to Terms + Jack of All Trades.
Fate starts equal to 1+Jack of All Trades.
Injured Status
If one has lost more than half of any one attribute, the injured penalty applies.
Healing
End roll. Ob 1 + 1 per attribute down, +1 per attribute at 0.

Rewards

Starting is as above.

Every session, characters with Jack of All Trades receive "jack points" equal to their level of Jack. These can be used for any of the following:
 • To use attribute instead skill.
 • To cancel the double-obstacle penalty for beginner's luck
 • As a point of persona
 • As a point of fate
 • To reroll a task

Players will need to write BIGs as normal to earn artha.

Traits

Traveller characters generally lack traits.

TMG characters will need some. Service related traits should be generated based upon terms and rank. Total the terms plus any officer rank:
